Andaman

Andaman & Nicobar Islands is a little slice of paradise situated roughly 1,400 kilometers away from the east coast of mainland India, complete with turquoise blue ocean beaches and a little history. Port Blair, the union territory’s capital, has a major airport and seaport that connects it to the rest of the country and various tourist islands by multiple daily ferries.

There are 572 islands in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, but only 37 of them are inhabited, and only a few are accessible to tourists. One of the largest and most visited islands in the Andaman & Nicobar chain is Havelock Island. Most visitors arrive from Port Blair by plane or ship, and they stay several nights in the fantastic resorts on the Havelock and Neil Islands.

The lovely Radhanagar Beach is located on the southern coast of Havelock Island, while the azure splendor of Vijayanagar Beach is located on the eastern side of the island. Its three sandy beaches, Bharatpur Beach, Sitapur Beach, and Lakshmanpur Beaches, are arguably Neil Island’s most charming feature.

Typically, people choose Port Blair as their hub city to board ferries to adjacent islands. Tourists do, however, also stay here for a day or two to explore the town and the adjacent beaches. Ross Island, North Bay Island, Baratang, and Jolly Buoy Island are more popular day trips from Port Blair.

The Andaman Islands offer some of the most spectacular beaches, and some of them also provide the chance to try out a variety of water sports including scuba diving, snorkeling, sea walking, etc. There are several beaches where you can take out watersports, including Bharatpur Beach on Neil Island, Elephant Beach on Havelock Island, and North Bay Island close to Port Blair. There are several additional beaches where the sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking, including Elephant Beach and Kalapather Beach.
