Ideal Time to Travel to Udaipur

Ways to Get to Udaipur
How to take a plane: The Maharana Pratap Airport, popularly referred to as the Dabok Airport is located 24 kilometers away from it. There are daily flights scheduled from here to cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Jaipur, making the travel relatively comfortable.
How to travel by car: The city is located at the junction of NH 76, NH 8, Golden Quadrilateral, and East-West Corridor, halfway between Delhi and Mumbai. Travelers by car can reach the city from Jaipur, which is a 6-hour drive via the Golden Quadrilateral, or from Ahmedabad, which is about a 5-hour drive down NH8. From Kota, the travel takes four hours over the EW corridor.
How to take a train: There are two train stations: City and Rana Pratap Nagar. Both are well connected to the majority of Indian cities, including Kolkata, Bangalore, New Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota, and Agra. The distance between the two stations and the city center is only three kilometers.
