The only people who know about his illness are his lover Aadhya (Payal Radhakrishna) and his friend Vignesh (Harsha Chemudu). He becomes the only witness to a murder one fateful night, but because of his condition, he is unable to identify the perpetrator. Did Surya, despite his illness, play a crucial part in solving the case? Explore the riddles by seeing this gripping story in theaters.

Positive Points in Prasanna Vadanam Movie:

During a lucrative career, Suhas boldly takes on another gripping tale and gives a remarkable performance as a character who is struggling with facial blindness.

The daring choice made by actress Rashi Singh to play a villainous part pays off, demonstrating her adaptability to roles other than traditional heroines.

In their roles, Payal Radhakrishna and Harsha Chemudu give good performances, while Nitin Prasanna shines. With their performances, several supporting actors also make an impression.

In the second part of the movie, there are a few exciting moments along with an unexpected interval twist.

Minus Points in Prasanna Vadanam Movie:

Prasanna Vadanam has an interesting notion, but its overall impact is diminished because it doesn’t maintain a compelling pace throughout. The efficacy of the movie might have been greatly increased with a more concentrated screenplay, especially in the second half.

The character arc of Rashi Singh should have been improved; some significant scenes lacked nuance and lived up to expectations.

The romance subplot seems inappropriate for a film that strives for a somber tone. The murder’s flashback scenes have the vibe of being lifted from well-known Telugu movies.

Technical Aspects:

Arjun YK, the director’s first, has promise, but the writing has to be improved with more attention, particularly in keeping a quick pace.

Key scenes are elevated by Vijay Bulganin’s score, which is enhanced by S Chandrasekaran’s excellent cinematography and Karthika Srinivas’s adept editing. Although a shorter runtime might have improved the watching experience, the production quality remains respectable.

Verdict:

Prasanna Vadanam is an alright thriller overall, with Suhas giving a respectable performance and Rashi Singh making an impact in her antagonistic character. While some turns make the price of the ticket worthwhile, the film‘s popularity may be limited by pace problems and needless scenes.
