Paayum Oli Nee Yenakku A man who is partially blind sets out on a quest to discover what caused his father’s demise. Can he overcome the obstacles and unravel the mystery?

Paayum Oli Nee Yenakku’s idea is intriguing. A child who suffers from partial low-light blindness becomes caught in a problem that is far more serious than he anticipated. But surely that can’t do much to keep the audience on edge the entire time? Any movie, especially an action thriller, needs good turns of events and confrontations, and Vikram Prabhu’s picture lacks them all.
There is not a single memorable scene in the movie that merits appreciation, and the screenplay is incredibly weak.
Aravind (Vikram Prabhu) had an injury as a child that left him partially blind in dim light. He owns a software business that assists in defending private information against unauthorized hacking and cyber threats. Arvind meets Uthra (Vani Bhojan), a wedding coordinator, who assists with his sister’s wedding preparations. The two begin to communicate their love for one another and get along well.
When Arvind’s father, who is his primary source of strength, is slain by a group, things take a turn for the worse. Now, he sets out on a perilous quest to discover the cause of his father’s murder and discovers some startling information involving many powerful people, including Jeevan (Dhanajaya), the former right hand of a powerful politician. Can Aravind battle them despite his health issues or fall?
However, given how neatly he handles things, we find it hard to believe the director even developed a character with such instability. He battles the bad guys just as any other typical hero would; in fact, he fights like a pro, and his fighting skills allow him to move through dimly lit areas with ease.
The explanation offered to us is that he has been trained since he was a little boy to live a typical life with no concern for his disability. But why even have a disease in the first place if he can easily overcome all the conflicts?
In contrast to the action scenes in the climax, Vani Bhojan and Vikram Prabhu’s romance is superior. Using some honeycomb and a few arrows, Aravind and his buddies trap Jeevan and his group in a jungle. It’s a concept that could have been successful in the 1980s.
None of the film’s primary characters or their situation resonate with us. Though Vikram Prabhu and Vani Bhojan both give respectable performances, their contributions to the film are negligible due to the unimpressive storyline. After a strong setup that gives us hope for a gripping thriller, the movie starts to lose steam about thirty minutes in.
