Conjuring Kannappan: 

Selvin Raj Xavier, a rookie director, crafts a colorful story of humor, horror, and fantasy in Dream Come True. Along with Nasser, Saranya Ponvannan, Anandraj, Redin Kingsley, Namo Narayanan, and a plethora of international performers including Elli AvrRam, Jason Shaw, and Benedict Garrett, the film has Sathish and Regina Cassandra in the key roles.

With a charming supernatural adventure film, Xavier, who has assisted directors Chimbu Devan and Sumanth Radhakrishnan, makes his directorial debut. Under the independent AGS Entertainment brand, the film was produced by Archana Kalpathi, Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Suresh, and Kalpathi S Ganesh.

S. Yuva and Pradeep E Ragav created the film’s fascinating images and fluid editing, while Maestro Yuvan Shankar Raja infused the soundtrack and background score with his enchanted melodies. Vishnu Edavann and Vignesh Ramakrishna created the film’s lyrical tapestry, and Mohana Mahendran and Miracle Michael added their creative flare and action-packed skills.

Story:

A story about death and dreams takes place in the world of Conjuring Kannappan. The protagonist, his life hanging by a thread in a spectral dreamscape, is imprisoned there. He comes to the terrifying idea that his death in the dream portends his death in the real world, causing the lines between reality and the dream world to blur. He has no way out of the haunted mansion and its terrifying ghostly occupants, so he has to battle this never-ending nightmare to the death in order to get his life back. Will he win this bizarre struggle for survival or fall victim to the grips of the dream remains to be seen.

The director’s assurance

Even so, the director Selvin Raj Xavier, making his feature film debut, made a bold and self-assured declaration: “The film will offer the audience a fresh and unique experience along with enjoyable entertainment.” We’ve managed to create a gripping blend of fantasy, horror, and comedy. Kids in particular will love this movie. People of all ages will undoubtedly find Conjuring Kannapan appealing.”

Release Date

On December 8, 2023, Conjuring Kannappan was released in theaters. The film’s rights have already been acquired by Netflix, the streaming behemoth, ahead of its theatrical debut. Conjuring Kannappan will be accessible for streaming in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada starting on January 5, 2024.
