Gopichand hasn’t had a true hit in a very long time, therefore the action drama Bhimaa is where the actor is placing his expectations. The female leads in this film are Malvika Sharma and Priya Bhavani Shankar, and it was directed by A. Harsha, a Kannada filmmaker. Story

Gopichand’s character Bhimaa is a jovial police officer with a distinctive approach to handling offenders. He turns into a headache for Bhavani (Mukesh Tiwari), who tries to dominate Mahendragiri. Bhimaa develops feelings for Vidya, a teacher at the school (Malvika Sharma). Vidya holds great admiration for Ravindra Varma (Nassar), who uses certain medicinal leaves to treat a variety of illnesses. When Bhimaa is asked for a favor by Ravindra Varma, it completely upends his existence. What was it that Bhimaa was asked by Ravindra Varma? How did Bhavani attempt to evade Bhimaa’s wrath? Positive Points in Bhimaa Movie:

Going by contemporary times, Gopichand’s most prominent role has been that of Bhimaa. To give the movie a distinct vibe, the filmmaker gave Bhimaa a few more characteristics, and Gopichand did a fantastic job portraying the lighthearted police officer. The public will be enthralled with the actor’s macho appearance and muscular image as he hasn’t looked this good lately. His character also has another dimension, and Gopichand performed it with some excellent variation.

An intriguing voice-over that explains Parasuramuni Kshetram’s origins opens the film. We will be interested in this opening sequence, which lasts for almost fifteen minutes. The intermission scene intensifies the tension and gets us excited for the second part. The pre-climax gives Malvika Sharma’s character more significance, and the actress performed admirably in this role. In their respective parts, Naresh, Chammak Chandra, Raghu Babu, and Mukesh Tiwari are all passable.

The final thirty minutes of the film are the most intense. The intense showdown works well because of the well-presented emotions, strong conversation, key twist, and heroism-elevating sequences. The few humorous exchanges between Rohini and Vennela Kishore worked very nicely. The action scenes are masterfully designed. The high-voltage hair-raising sequences are elevated by the powerful background tune composed by Ravi Basrur.

Negative Points in Bhimaa Movie:

After a strong opening segment, the film gradually becomes less engaging as it goes on. Once the love track is introduced, the movie runs into trouble. Although it makes sense that the film’s creators aimed to appeal to a wide audience, the way the entire love part is conceived is obscene and will make some viewers uncomfortable.

The characterization of Bhimaa takes up the entire first half of the film, while the love track takes up far too much of the screen. There was room for improvement in how the film’s central idea was presented. It is introduced right around the midway point, along with the other important character, who serves as the foundation for the entire second half.

A larger audience may not be able to enjoy the movie because of the dialogue, the love moments, and the graphic images. The excessive use of the back-and-forth screenplay style will occasionally make it impossible to understand the timings, which will lead to confusion. Although Priya Bhavani Shankar performed admirably, her part lacked nuance.

Technical Aspects Bhimaa Movie:

Nowadays, the majority of movies have amazing visuals, and Bhimaa is no exception. The nighttime scenes are particularly well-represented by Swami J. Gowda’s superb cinematography. The production qualities are superb. The background score by Ravi Basrur is excellent, despite the mediocre tunes. Good action scenes are essential for mass-market movies like this one, and Bhimaa excels in this area.

In this high-action drama, director A. Harsha included a fantasy aspect. Both the peak sequences and the mass scenes are handled cleanly. Additionally, he did a good job showcasing Gopichand; but, the way the love music is composed and presented is unimpressive. This is the film’s major flaw, and it will partially reduce its impact.

Movie Verdict:

Overall, Bhimaa is a big action drama with some good moments in either half. In the movie, Gopichand acts quite energetically and gives a powerful performance. Although the first, middle, and last thirty minutes were done fairly effectively, the remaining parts could have been performed more skillfully. One thing that detracts from the movie is the dull love track. The movie’s potential isn’t fully realized, and the main theme should have been emphasized further. More people will be drawn to the movie than to the other sections.
