 Movie Story

Although Abhay (Kamal Kamaraju) and Nikki (Akshara Gowda) are lifelong companions, they have numerous problems in their marriage. Nikki had sexual expectations of Abhay, and he was unable to meet them, which is why their relationship soured. However, there is another pair, Mythili (Pooja Jhaveri) and Saaho (Adarsh Balakrishna). Mythili believes that being compatible and emotionally attached to your spouse is more important in a marriage than simply having sex. The spouses take a vacation to Goa on the counsel of a psychotherapist. Their journey to Goa completely transforms their life. What took place next? Did the couples resolve their differences? This is the main plot point.

Positive Points in Mix Up Movie:

Mix Up’s main concept makes sense. The success of a relationship depends on the partners’ emotional bond to one another and their compatibility, as the film underlines. There are some well-written lines for Pooja Jhaveri’s role.

The opening line of Mix Up states that although living together for the benefit of one’s family was once common, it is not the same in the modern era. To some extent, this is accurate. The film’s lead stars, Kamal Kamaraju, Pooja Jhaveri, Akshara Gowda, and Adarsh Balakrishna, made every effort to save it.

Negative Points in Mix-Up Movie:

Mix Up serves as an illustration of how a movie with a sound and modern idea may go wrong. It makes an effort to examine the complicated emotional environments and connections of today, but it falls short of doing so in a compelling way. Two married couples are dealing with problems, but we don’t witness enough of the same to have a connection with the characters. It’s a poor world-building job.

The storyline doesn’t have enough tension for us to care about the movie. The movie concludes quickly and everything happens in a rush. As a result, the picture seems more like an extended short. Because they are going through a similar problem, the two individuals who were cheated on end up becoming close and emotionally linked to one another. The same is only discussed verbally, and the textual content is too shallow to make a strong case for it.

If the composition team had handled Kamal Kamaraju and Pooja Jhaveri’s song appropriately, Mix Up would have flawlessly expressed its original meaning. The characterizations of the main actors are badly done, and Kamakshi Bhaskarla is squandered in a meaningless role.

Movie Technical Aspects:

The majority of the movie is set in one locale, and Dinesh K Babu’s graphics are well done. The music of Kausik Subrahmanya and Kamran is merely mediocre. As the scenes are weak, we are unable to voice many complaints regarding the music. The same holds for editing. The production values are satisfactory.

Mix Up fails primarily due to poor execution, even with an idea that is accessible. Aakash Bikki ought to have given more attention to the narrative’s emotional turns and character growth. Most of the movie stays on the surface, and there isn’t much powerful drama in the storyline.

Movie Verdict:

Overall, Mix Up tackles a topic that is relevant today, but the story is shallow and the characters are poorly developed. Despite their best efforts, Adarsh Balakrishna, Akshara Gowda, Kamal Kamaraju, and Pooja Jhaveri were unable to make a significant impact on the film due to its script. The characters’ suffering and struggle aren’t adequately shown. There is no time for sentimental moments because the proceedings move quickly. The drab presentation detracts from what otherwise might have been a respectable young performer.
