Story

Three unemployed engineers from Manchiryal, Karthik (Naresh Agastya), Abhi (Abhinav Gomatam), and Kiran (Viswadev Rachakonda), relocate to Hyderabad in pursuit of employment. They cross paths with Soori (Temper Vamsi), who is looking for money that his boss, the ambitious MLA Janardhan (Ajay Gosh), has lost. The group inadvertently takes possession of the money, raising some queries: Where is the money? What part does Srinivas Avasarala’s character Vivek play in this financial twist? What takes place after that? The solutions are in the film.

Positive Points in Kismat Movie:

Viswadev Rachakonda, Abhinav Gomatam, and Naresh Agastya give performances that are deserving of praise.

One person who jumps out is Abhinav Gomatam, who delivers clever one-liners and displays perfect comedic timing. Temper Vamsi and Ajay Ghosh leave their mark with powerful performances.

Minus Points in Kismat Movie:

The story itself is not difficult; rather, the way it is presented is. The clean storytelling that characterizes criminal comedies is absent from Kismat, and the movie might have been greatly improved with a stronger screenplay.

One negative is the overabundance of characters; some scenes are not cohesive. For instance, the unlikely notion that an HR representative would fall in love with a candidate over a coffee date and then accompany him in committing a crime undermines the film‘s credibility. Furthermore, Riya Suman’s on-screen appearance is regrettably restricted.

The first half’s slow tempo continues throughout the second, adding needless drama for dramatic and humorous effects. Even with a short running length, the movie gets boring.

The roles played by Srinivas Avasarala and Riya Suman don’t contribute much to the story as a whole.

Kismat MovieTechnical Aspects:

Kismat could have become an enjoyable cinematic experience if the writer and director had taken the time to construct an engaging screenplay.

Despite their modest contributions, Mark K Robin’s music and cinematography are unable to make a lasting impression. The editing might have been more polished, and while the production qualities are up to par, they could have been better.

Kismat Movie Verdict:

Though the principal actors give excellent performances, Kismat mostly plays out as a standard criminal drama with a mediocre plot. The audience’s patience may be put to the test by the ongoing slowness. This week, it would be wiser to think about other forms of entertainment.
