iQOO Z7 Pro review: With a starting price of Rs 23,999, the iQOO Z7 Pro is a brand-new competitor. Is the iQOO Z7 Pro worth your money, even with the current iteration’s numerous enhancements and appealing price? In our in-depth analysis, let’s find out.

In Short

  • In India, the iQOO Z7 Pro has been introduced.
  • According to our usage, it is a reliable 5G phone for under Rs 25,000.
  • The new iQOO phone is available for a limited time at Rs 21,999.

iQOO Z7 Pro is a new entrant in the market, the price of which starts at 23,999 rubles. The company seems to have taken a more thoughtful approach to its new iQOO Z7 series compared to its predecessor, as the iQOO Z6 series had three models to meet different consumer needs. Although the standard model is already available and the Z7 Lite version is still making its debut, the focus is squarely on the iQOO Z7 Pro. The new iteration comes with several upgrades at an attractive price, but is the iQOO Z7 Pro worth your money? Let’s find out in our detailed review.

iQOO Z7 Pro Review: Design, Build

The iQOO Z7 Pro offers a striking stance compared to the iQOO Z6 Pro. It immediately attracts attention with its slim and streamlined profile. It’s refreshing to see a brand-new design rather than bulky and bulky devices. One of the characteristics is the application of a curved design on the front and back, which improves the ergonomic feel of the phone. Thanks to its slim shape, the phone is easy to carry and use with one hand. The new iQOO phone also offers a premium touch thanks to its glass back panel and minimal bezels, giving it a modern look.

The iQOO Z7 Pro has a reverse glass back panel that feels smooth to the touch, although it is also a bit slippery. I used the included case to keep it from slipping out of my hand. The iQOO Z7 Pro has an IP52 rating that protects the phone from splashes and rain. However, this water resistance may not be durable enough for swimming pools, so keep that in mind. When I looked at the phone, it was once wet from the rain. It survived, so I can say in my anecdotal way that the IP52 rating works as advertised.

The camera island at the back has undergone a redesign with two large camera modules and a unique ring flashlight to improve imaging capabilities, which we will talk about a little later. One drawback that needs to be mentioned here is the single speaker located at the bottom of the device. Although a dual speaker setup could provide a deeper sound experience while throating, I found the single-speaker sound quality to be quite loud and good.
