Positive vibes surround a Sudheer Babu film after a long period. Gnanasagar Dwaraka of Sehari renown is the director of the film, Harom Hara. Let’s see how things work out now that Harom Hara has reached the screens.

Movie Story:

By unlawfully taking land and posing a threat to the public, Thammi Reddy (Lakki Lakshman), Basava Reddy (Ravi Kale), and Sharath (Arjun Gowda) cause chaos in the Kuppam area. At this point, Subramanyam (Sudheer Babu) goes there in search of employment. He starts working as a lab assistant at the college where Devi (Malvika Sharma), the person he is in love with, works. Subramanyam gets into a dilemma one day and has to quit from his work. Subramanyam notices the gun manufacturing industry because of the large earnings it offers as he considers his other possibilities for employment. Along with Palani Swamy, a suspended police officer, he launches the company (Sunil). The movie centers on what transpires afterward and how Subramanyam rises to prominence in Kuppam.

Positive Points in Harom Hara Movie

Sudheer Babu consistently goes above and above, and he has also given a powerful performance with Harom Hara. Sudheer Babu exudes confidence in his body language and leads the movie with ease. These kinds of action movies are a good fit for Sudheer, and the filmmakers recognized his potential.

Even though the action moves a little slowly, the first half is interesting with well-staged mass moments and subtle climbs. In contrast to other commercial performers, the movie doesn’t have any pointless songs. It’s a wise idea to make even the ones who are present become an essential component of the narrative and not disrupt its flow.

With a substantial part, Sunil provides Sudheer Babu with strong assistance. Every member of the main character and supporting cast has worked hard to master Kuppam slang. The locales that were picked add genuineness. Although Harom Hara lacks originality, the movie is meant for a broad audience. The action-packed sections are interspersed with regular intervals, and Chaitan Bharadwaj’s soundtrack enhances the intensity of several scenes. Both Jayaprakash Narayana and Akshara Gowda do well in their respective roles.

Minus Points in Harom Hara Movie

Although there are some interesting moments in the second half as well, the momentum is ruined by predictability. But the most disappointing thing about Harom Hara is how unoriginal he is in a lot of ways. Nothing new has been shown here; the idea of the protagonist’s rise from poverty to wealth has been addressed numerous times in Telugu cinema. There are strong KGF and Pushpa overtones.

The hero-worship element has become a must in modern movies, thus the drama wanes at the end. A rookie director should have stronger scripting, but Gnanasagar stuck to the formula. Three key antagonists appear in the movie, although because of their undeveloped characterizations, none of them stand out. Malvika Sharma performed admirably, although her work is somewhat limited.

While taking inspiration from other films is OK, certain parts are plagiarized. In one of the movie’s opening scenes, the protagonist elegantly lights a cigar. Is that a novel notion, even though it may appeal to the masses? Not at all. This is where the renowned machine gun sequence from KGF was reproduced, and scenes like this will wear you out. Routine stories can also be found in many successful movies, however, the issue here is that the creators lacked original concepts.

Technical Aspects

Chaitan Bharadwaj is without a doubt Harom Hara’s second hero. Chaitan attempted to draw attention away from the defects with his throbbing background score, and he was successful in creating a rush of excitement. The images by Arvind Vishwanathan are excellent. The production design is amazing. The detailing is done well because the filmmaker is also from the Kuppam area.

Gnanasagar Dwaraka, the director, has potential and handled a couple of moments quite well. The film’s geographical setting and the gun industry add appeal, but the script is erratic at best. A crucial lesson is that the story lacks original aspects, despite the decision to omit superfluous songs. The action scenes propel the movie and will leave a lasting impression on viewers.

Verdict

Although Harom Hara’s plot is predictable overall, there are a few well-done mass sequences that work in the movie’s favor. When Sudheer Babu is displayed as a mass avatar, his entire potential is realized. The director is influenced by other movies, and while the first half is decent, the second half becomes formulaic. The last hour of the show is when the drama starts to wane, and it ends poorly. It’s available for anyone who enjoys action movies to try. Others might search for different choices.
