Anant Raj launched his business

Real estate developer Anant Raj Ltd aims to invest Rs 10,000 crore in three commercial projects over the course of four to five years to convert them into data centers with a combined capacity of roughly 300 MW.

To oversee the operations of the data centers in Manesar, Rai, and Panchkula in the Haryana province, the business has established a subsidiary called Anant Raj Cloud.

The corporation can reach a 300 MW capacity with these three assets. In our facility in Manesar, we have already operationalized 3 MW and will add an additional 3 MW in the upcoming three months, Sarin told Moneycontrol.

Anant Raj Limited, a New Delhi-based company with a planned investment of Rs 500 crore for its Manesar facility, has acquired the first certification for a capacity of 21 MW.

“Rs 175 crore has already been deployed on the facility, primarily through internal accruals,” the speaker stated.

Public sector organizations, IT, e-commerce, and financial firms are some of the clients. Anant Raj announced in a presentation to investors that the first phase of the 3 MW data center in Manesar has begun and that the company has been appointed as a business partner with Telecommunications Consultants India and RailTel Corporation of India.

According to experts, it costs almost Rs 55 crore to create 1 MW for a data center, but in this situation, the company owns the property, thus it might only cost them about Rs 25 crore to build 1 MW. For data center customers who need enough electricity to run hundreds of servers and related IT infrastructure, power is essential.

“The company has successfully launched 3 MW in Manesar after concentrating on strengthening work for the previous three years. This facility has a 50 MW maximum power output. Panchkula can produce 50 MW, and Rai up to 200 MW, the man claimed.

By 2020, the company had built around 5 million square feet of commercial space, of which 20% was leased. As a contractor for Anant Raj Agencies in the 1980s, it created residential projects, with the Asian Games Village being one of them that stands out.

IT infrastructure that delivers applications and services, stores data, and manages it is housed in data centers. They can be used by a single business or made accessible for shared use by a number of businesses and clients.

By 2025, it is anticipated that the Indian data center market will have attracted investments totaling around $5 billion at its current compound annual growth rate of roughly 40%. According to a report by Avendus Capital, this will spur the next wave of investments, with a goal capacity of 1,700 MW to be developed by 2025.
