2. Dada Hari Wav
One of the two well-known step-wells in the area is Dada Harir Wav, formerly called the Bal Harir Stepwell, and it is located in Asarwa, 15 kilometers from Ahmedabad. This octagonal sandstone stepwell was built during the Mehmud Begda dynasty and is a remnant of the Solanki architectural style. For the inhabitants, it serves as a place of relaxation in the summer.
The stepwell’s seven levels, which are an excellent way to conserve water, can hold multiple guests at once. This unusual structure, which sits directly behind the Dada Hari cemetery, features three staircases that descend from the first floor to the well’s bottom. 3. Swaminarayan Temple, Ahmedabad
The Shri Swaminarayan Temple, also called Akshardham Temple, is a shrine to Narayan Dev and is situated in Ahmedabad’s Kalupur neighborhood. The founder of the Swaminarayan branch of Hinduism, Swaminarayan, gave the order for this magnificent temple to be constructed in 1822.

4. Sabarmati Ashram
Sabarmati Ashram, where Mahatma Gandhi and his wife Kasturba once lived, is where Gandhiji launched the well-known Dandi March. Known by several names, including the “Gandhi Ashram,” “Mahatma Gandhi Ashram,” and, most significantly, the “Satyagraha Ashram,” it is thought that Mahatma Gandhi chose this location because it is situated between a graveyard and a prison, and a Satyagrahi is likely to wind up among them.

5. Kankaria Lake

6. Hutheesing Jain Temple
One of Ahmedabad’s most revered Jain temples is the Hutheesing Jain Temple, which was founded in 1848. This temple project, which is located on Bardolpura’s Shahibaug Road, was started by Sheth Hutheesing Kesarisinh and later finished by his wife Shethani Harkunwar. Kesarisinh was given a posthumous name in honor of her husband. This two-story white marble temple, dedicated to Lord Dharmanath, the 15th Tirthankara of the Jains, houses eleven statues of deities.
8. Sidi Saiyyed Mosque
The Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, also called Sidi Saiyyed Ni Jaali, is one of Ahmedabad’s most well-known and exquisite mosques. It was constructed in 1573. Over the years, this attraction has garnered a great deal of attention and recognition due to its magnificent architecture, especially its elaborate latticework, which is colloquially referred to as “jali.” So, the location is a photographer’s and history buffs’ dream come true.
Completed in the final year of the Gujarat Sultanate’s rule, this monument is one of the very few mosques constructed by them before the Mughals entered Gujarat and overthrew them. Sidi Saiyyed, who was a member of Bilal Jhajar Khan’s army and accompanied the final Sultan of the Gujarat Sultanate, Shams-Ud-din Muzaffar Shah III, is credited with building this magnificent mosque. The mosque is particularly well-known for its ten exquisite Jalis, or stone latticework windows, which are located on the side and back arches. The stone slabs have designs engraved on them that feature palm motifs along with entwined trees and flora.
9. Auto World Vintage Car Museum
The Auto World Historic Car Museum, situated in the Dastan of Kathwad, is home to more than 120 historic cars, including classic carriages, motor vehicles, and utility vehicles. The Vintage and Classic Car Club of India is in charge of organizing and maintaining it. In addition, the museum has a cafe and a store with plenty of parking and restrooms.
The Auto World Vintage Car Museum was founded by Shri Pranlal Bhogilal Patel, who turned his collection into a well-known museum. Mr. Nitin Dossa is the current director of the institution. A collection of royal automobiles and carriers from 1900 to the 1970s is also kept at the museum.
